Wingarra BMI is a boutique business consultancy which specialises in assisting clients to develop profitable and sustainable business models. Our approach is especially relevant for companies:

The approach is equally useful, however, for companies with established businesses which need a more innovative and robust approach to budgeting and cashflow management.

We have a particular specialty in assisting clients to identify and select optimal business models, and to adopt appropriate commercialisation pathways. This is achieved by firstly identifying and mapping all variables likely to impact upon the financial performance of the new business, business unit or project, and then designing and constructing a range of sophisticated and customised technical/financial models. These models are then run repeatedly to test the effects of changes in these variables in all possible scenarios. We then typically assist clients to map out effective commercialisation strategies through the development of compelling business plans.

The modelling process allows clients to firstly assess the financial feasibility of their proposed new business, business unit or project, and then, if feasibility is confirmed, to optimise the business model underpinning it. The sophisticated models we design and construct are ideal not just for assessing business or project feasibility, but also for negotiating with potential equity or debt providers. As noted above, they are also extremely useful for companies needing more robust budgeting and cashflow management tools.

The global financial crisis - revisit budgets and cashflow projections

The financial crisis currently playing out around the world is presenting the business sector with challenges of a magnitude not seen in at least 80 years. Companies across the globe are having to rapidly reassess their business models as assumptions which have underpinned their actions for many years are proven to be no longer viable.
