X-treme Cycling is a Gold Coast-based manufacturer of high-performance X-Treme brand carbon fibre racing bike wheels. X-Treme wheels were used by seven of the 52 competitors in the men's and women's triathlon events at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, including Canadian Simon Whitfield who won the gold medal in the men's division. The wheels have also been used in securing a string of triathlon world championships over recent years.
